The Nova Scotia International Program (more information here) manages and coordinates the 7 Centers for Education (also known as Regional School Boards) of the Nova Scotia Region, thus offering a wide offer and at the same time very closely managed thanks to our own local student support structures.
Halifax Center for Education is located in central Nova Scotia. Halifax is the smallest school district in the province but it is the most populous. It is the capital of Nova Scotia and it is a diverse and fun city. Halifax has the vivacity of urban life, the charm of a small town and nature - all in one place.
Most students in Halifax live with families in places outside the downtown area, offering students the opportunity to enjoy a more rural lifestyle but still close to the city center.

Strategic Plan 2015-2020 of the Nova Scotia Ministry of Education for all its School Boards:
Goals
Renew, Refocus and Rebuild.
"Transforming education is not about the 'last big idea'. It is about imagining the best possible future for our students and, putting our hearts into our work, taking the necessary steps to achieve it. It is about turning the seemingly impossible, into possible and practical. "
