Camp Manitou is characterized by its daily program consisting of 5 activity periods plus a free period. Campers choose every Thursday which activities they want to do in those periods, being able to repeat or try up to 10 different activities each week.
There is also the LIT program for those campers who are 16 years old. This program consists of enjoying the general daily program and also enjoying activities such as: rafting on the Ottawa River, volunteering at the Lake Joseph Center camp for the blind, a monitor day with the smallest campers and canoe trips outside the camp.
The Manitou camp stands out not only for offering all kinds of activities but also for its small seminars included in the Manitou Cares program. This unique program takes place on Fridays around the bonfire where everyone as a family learns the importance of giving back to the community and defending the innocent. Manitou is the ideal place to grow while enjoying the summer.
