Overview

Pembina Trails School Division is located in the Winnipeg City University District, with a great student atmosphere. It offers one of the widest international programs in all of Canada. Its high schools score highly in national academic competitions. In addition, she receives a large number of scholarships each year from graduate students. The school district attaches great importance to the cultural component of its program and for this they dedicate exclusive staff to plan and implement cultural activities throughout the year.

Some of the programs offered are: ESL (English as a Second Language), fine arts, French immersion, Volleyball and Basketball academies, among others.

Winnipeg is recognized for its art and culture (it is the cultural capital of Canada 2010). The Winnipeg Art Gallery has the largest public collection of Inuit (Eskimo) contemporary art and hosts national and international exhibitions throughout the year. The MTS Center is the stadium for local hockey teams - Winnipeg Jets and soccer - Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
