Overview
Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) has been teaching for over a hundred years and has graduated students who have excelled at colleges and universities around the world. It has 26 High Schools, 116 Elementary Schools and 5 support areas located in urban, suburban and rural areas.
The District is located in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. A city full of life and color. Ottawa is Canada's fourth largest city with a population of over 1 million, and is known for its diversity, hospitality, and for being a safe, family-oriented city with many outdoor activities that can be enjoyed in all four seasons.
Ottawa-Carleton District School Board provides international students the opportunity to choose the educational path that best suits their interests and objectives, being able to choose short stays to improve their English or stay until graduation. Intensive English classes are provided for those students who wish to improve the language for entry into a high school or university. Over the years OCDSB has welcomed more than 2,000 students from 37 countries, and they hope to welcome many more in the coming years.
