Overview

It is the largest publicly funded Catholic school district in Western Canada. It has a large, dedicated support team, in addition to its qualified teaching staff, which ensures that international students receive the support they need to become proficient in the English language.

All schools in the district have teaching based on the values of faith, caring, respect, responsibility, trust, charity and family.

Calgary Catholic School District became the first separate Catholic school district in Alberta on December 18, 1885. It has developed enormously over the past century, currently housing nearly 6000 staff members supporting close to 59,000 students in 117 schools.

The district is located in Calgary, the largest city in the province of Alberta, which is known for its friendly hospitality and diverse, thriving culture.
