White Pine

Camp

Camp White Pine is a camp that welcomes around 450 campers between the ages of 9 and 16 over 10 weeks every summer. Founded in 1956 White Pine stands out for creating a home away from home where campers can laugh, cry and learn without the pressures of day to day.

The values of respect, acceptance, growth and kindness are fundamental and part of life in the camp. By creating a sense of community with a positive environment, campers advance and create lifelong friendships and grow as independent beings. It is these same values that define White Pine and are the reason the staff and campers repeat year after year.

Camp White Pine is part of the OCA (Ontario Camps Association), an organization that promotes the quality and safety of camp experiences.

Expert Opinion

White Pine is a traditional camp that has laid the foundations for the other camps. His philosophy is refreshing and unique compared to other camps and also the number of Spanish speakers is almost non-existent. On the other hand, that all activities are carried out by cabin groups facilitates inclusion and the feeling of belonging to a small family and that is why campers always want to stay longer or repeat.
