The Red Deer School District is located in the western province of Alberta, Canada. Red Deer is a safe, clean, and medium-sized city. It is located about 100 miles from major cities like Calgary and Edmonton and the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
The institutes are public and teach the Alberta curriculum in primary and secondary education.
Specialized programs are: ESL (English as a Second Language), AP (College Credit for High School Students), IB (International Baccalaureate) and French Immersion. In addition, they provide accommodation in host families so that students can fully experience the Canadian experience and feel involved at all times.

The Red Deer Public School District is responsible for ensuring that our students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become self-sufficient, responsible, and committed members of society.
Our first obligation is to provide a solid core program consisting of language and literature, mathematics, science, and social studies. We have a responsibility to provide educational programs that ensure students have the opportunity to meet graduation requirements and prepare to enter their workplace or undertake postsecondary studies. We have an additional responsibility to ensure that our students understand the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and that they have the skills and the disposition to continue learning throughout life.
