Host family accommodation
Host families are selected exclusively by the district, and are characterized by their desire to welcome the participant as one more member and share their day-to-day life and culture with them. The participant is the ONLY Spanish speaker in the house during the program.
When assigning the host families, all the preferences and special needs that the participant exposes at the registration are considered, especially allergies, fear of pets or medical conditions. The participant can be sure that their host family exceeds the quality expectations of the program and, if this is not the case, they will be immediately assigned a new one.
However, economic reasons, race, religion or food status of the host family (vegetarianism, veganism...) do not constitute valid reasons to request a family change according to Red Leaf policy, since these families meet the requirements established by Red Leaf.
International program
The programs include a large number of activities and sports with which to enrich the experience that they will be able to obtain in MPSD.
