Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is a School District located in Belleville, Ontario. It is centrally located with easy access to Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, with a population of less than 100,000 inhabitants. Belleville has all the comforts of a big city with the safety and comfort of a small city. It offers an international program for grades 8-12, and students can start their program in February or September.

The international program selects local families to welcome students and provide them with a unique experience, where students practice their English, complete their studies and participate in Canadian culture. To further enhance the student's cultural experience, the program offers a wide variety of extra activities such as: Monthly events, visit to Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.

The ISP program provides additional support to foreigners with ESL courses, an after-school tutoring program, college readiness, TOEFL, and weekly visits to schools to prepare for the transition to college.

HPEDSB also offers special courses for international students - International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement (university level course program), French Immersion and a wide range of programs to help students prepare for their future, for example: theater, music, study environmental, technology, business studies, physical education and much more.
