The district's goal is to make schools work closely with parents and community members to ensure the needs of all students. Additionally, the public schools that make up the district are a vital component in their communities and therefore must reflect the values and needs of local families. This objective is achieved:

• Creating close communication between schools and the community.
• Encouraging parents and community members to support and get involved in their neighborhood school through school councils, volunteer work, and regular visits.
