Educational ideology

Objective

Coquitlam School District is focused on creating "citizens of the world" and strives to develop in students the skills necessary to function in it.

The Coquitlam School District International Education Program offers an opportunity for students from outside Canada to enter our school district where they can learn English while pursuing academic and professional programs. Students from around the world receive valuable learning experiences by studying abroad, not only by improving their English language skills, but also by making international friends for life and absorbing Canadian culture, all in beautiful British Columbia.

Mission

Our mission is to ensure quality learning opportunities for all students of all ages.

The Coquitlam International program encourages the creation of friendships between Canadian and international students and their families by exchanging experiences and backgrounds. Further enhance the school environment by exploring cultural diversity and expanding global understanding. We provide English immersion with the support of specialized teachers, so that international students quickly become fluent in the language. International coordinating specialists support students academically and emotionally to help them adapt and achieve success in their new educational environment.
