SummerFall - Total Immersion + HS Experience at Huron-Perth

This course is designed for participants who want to improve their level of English in a family environment, a real and total immersion in a pleasant environment, participate in the family's daily rhythm, and share some activities and excursions. During the month of September, the participants attend a Canadian High School every day, under the same conditions as Canadian students. The program consists of 5 weeks of Total Immersion + the remaining weeks in a school at Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board.

HOMESTAY

It is guaranteed that in the host family, there will be a member with an age difference of up to 3 years above or below the participant. It is also guaranteed that the family will consist of at least two people. The participant is the ONLY Spanish speaker in the house during the program, although they can share the family with another participant of a different nationality. Red Leaf Canada carefully selects host families.

QUARTER IN HIGH SCHOOL

Term programs represent a unique experience to get to know the Canadian culture and educational system while significantly improving the level of English of the participants. For four weeks, the Spanish student feels like one more student in Canada.

The student will go to the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board.

MONITORS AND COORDINATORS

• In-flight monitor with a minimum group of 15 participants, general coordinators posted to the field who make several visits and calls throughout the program and the participant's stay.
• Canadian local coordinator.
• Red Leaf offices in Canada and Madrid have a 24/7 emergency telephone number.

TRANSPORT

Transportation to and from the meeting point with the host families.
